Citibank
At Citibank, I had the opportunity to head UX design for Helios, a large-scale financial platform that transformed how the bank created, evaluated, and managed corporate loans and credit lines.
At Citibank, I served as Vice President of User Experience Design, heading design on Helios, a large-scale application designed to streamline how the bank creates, evaluates, distributes, and collects on corporate loans and lines of credit. As this work falls under NDA, I am unable to share design artifacts, but I can speak to my role, leadership, and contributions.
I directed UX across five major initiatives within Helios, fully creating two products from the ground up. This work required balancing high-level strategic direction with hands-on design execution, ensuring every flow aligned with both business goals and user needs.
Leadership was central to my role. I guided and developed a team of designers, providing mentorship while keeping our work aligned with senior product and design stakeholders. I also embedded agile methodology into our process—leading scrums, structuring workflows, and ensuring cross-functional transparency—which allowed our team to adapt quickly to shifting priorities.
To support scalability, I created a localized pattern library and universal components tailored to Helios’s loan evaluation and tracking system. This not only gave the application a consistent design foundation but also accelerated future development. Additionally, I collaborated on improving our request management systems in Jira and Confluence, refining how projects were initiated, tracked, and communicated across teams.
Across every project, I focused on building narrative-driven UX and UI flows, ensuring that complex financial processes were made clear, efficient, and intuitive. While the details remain proprietary, Helios stands as a defining example of my ability to lead a team, set a strategic design vision, and deliver high-impact enterprise-scale solutions.
